Privacy notice

Last updated: 4 October 2026. Operator of this site and of the CSV Cleaner tool: Augeo.

The tool: your file is read in your browser and is never uploaded

The tool on this site is a script that runs in your own browser. When you choose a file, the browser reads it from your disk into the memory of the open tab and the script cleans it there.

• The file, its contents, the preview, the report and the cleaned CSV are not sent to this site or to anyone else.
• Nothing from the file is stored or logged. The script sets no cookies and writes nothing to the browser's storage.
• Closing or reloading the page discards the data. The cleaned CSV exists only where you choose to save it.
• Because the processing happens in your browser, the operator never receives your file or its output.

Only upload data you have the right to process. Exports from payment services and marketplaces contain other people's names and, in some cases, their addresses; you remain responsible for how you handle them.

The licence key

If you buy the full download, you type a licence key into the page. The key, and nothing from your file, is sent to this site so that it can be checked, and again with the request for the small settings file that the full download needs. To check a key, the site may pass it to Gumroad, which issued it. The page keeps the key in memory only while it is open and does not store it in your browser.

This site: no cookies, no analytics code, no third-party content

The pages are plain HTML, one style sheet and two script files served from this site. They load nothing from other sites: no fonts, no advertising, no analytics code and no embedded content. They set no cookies.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. As with any website, the hosting provider's servers process the technical data of each request (such as the IP address, the address requested, the time and the browser's user-agent string) in order to deliver the page and protect the service. The operator can see aggregate request counts provided by the host, for example how many requests a page received in a period. Those counts do not identify visitors.

Purchases on Gumroad

The only link on this site that leads to another site is the link to buy a licence key, which opens a Gumroad product page. Gumroad takes the payment, delivers the key and handles refund requests under its own terms, refund policy and privacy policy. Gumroad asks for an email address and payment details on its own pages, not on this site, and shows the seller the email address used for an order.

The price is 6 USD, paid once. The key is for one buyer. Runs are not counted and no number of runs is promised. Refunds are requested through the Gumroad receipt and follow Gumroad's refund policy. The price and these terms are shown on each tool page before purchase.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, data protection law may give you rights of access, correction, deletion and objection. This site holds no personal data from your files that such a request could apply to. For data held about an order, use your Gumroad order receipt, which is also the way to contact the seller.
